North Coast Leisure Ltd opened its doors in June 2011 and is a family run business just outside of Portrush, on the North Coast of Northern Ireland.
North Coast Leisure is the vision of local ex-teacher and outdoor sports enthusiast Stephen McKenzie. After ten years teaching and coaching sports, and instructing in the outdoors worldwide, Stephen became a missionary in South Africa for six years, where he further developed his passion for cycling and the outdoors.
North Coast Leisure is not only home to established local and international cycling and outdoor brands, but introduces the UK and Ireland to exclusive new kit! It is the official distributor for Silverback bikes, City, Road, and Mountain bicycles, uniquely designed in Germany, and challenging bike technology and innovation to become the most advanced bike company in the world!
As well as bringing you the latest is bike technology, North Coast Leisure is the UK and Ireland stockist for the latest in semi- and fully-customised cycle, running and triathlon wear from Velotex, the official providers for the largest individual time trial road race in the world, the Cape Argus.
North Coast Leisure is also the only stockists in the UK and Ireland of First Ascent, South Africa’s leading outdoor clothing and equipment manufacturer. First Ascent design and manufacture their products using a perfect blend of technology, cutting edge materials, manufacturing techniques and extreme-testing.
