Description:
The MERCURY 2 uses Silverback's Intelligent Design System (IDS) technology to create an exceptional dual suspension mountain bike. The system uses linkage plates that are secured on both sides of the bottom bracket shell of the frame, and together with large cartridge bearings that are pressed into the frame's BB shell, produces a very stiff, reliable main pivot. The design creates a platform with virtually no suspension bob, and is ideally suited to fast cross country and trail riding due to the efficient suspension travel and supple ride. All the suspension parts are replaceable and the system is easy to maintain, helping the rider to spend time on the trail rather than working on getting the bike to work properly.
